Meet Our Board

The Hopewell Valley Education Foundation board is made up entirely of volunteers from the communities in Hopewell Valley. We strive to compose a balanced board of various talents. Presently serving are parents of students currently or formerly enrolled in the district, former teachers, a current teacher (out of district), and a former school board member.

Dr. Tom Smith, superintendent of schools, and Leigh Ann Peterson, member of the HVRSD School Board, both serve ex officio.

Members of the HVEF board serve on other local boards, acting as liaisons to the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance, District Parent Council, and various school PTOs, as well as local business and community organizations. The HVEF is a member of the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce.
