How We Help
The HVEF is a grant making organizing which has donated more than $150,000 to the Hopewell Valley public schools in the past 5 years.
The HVEF accepts project proposals from district faculty, staff and administrators. Approved projects are funded, often in collaboration with local businesses and corporations, or school PTOs, usually for the current school year. Projects and programs reach virtually all students in the district over time, at all educational levels. The foundation strives to balance programs across schools and grade levels, and seeks programs that impact a wide range of students.
Funds are raised from a variety of sources including our corporate and community partners, individual donors, the Take A Seat program, and annual fundraisers such as The Power of 100, the Booklovers’ Luncheon, and the E2 Awards Dinner.
Each year the foundation awards scholarships to four Central High School graduating seniors.
